Hi, we are a chriatian family of 7...yes I did say 7. My husband Geoff is in finance and myself (Sonia) a qualified Teacher but currently at home with our 2 younger children. Weare in our late 30's. We have 5 awesome children. Maddi 14, Isaac 10, Elle 9, Hamish 3 and Lillian 12 months. Our children have travelled extensively overseas and are very respectful of the homes they are visiting. We live in a vibrant country town in northern NSW-Inverell. The community is known for great fishing, fossicking, natural wildlife and bush walking.We also attend a vibrant local Church who walmly welcome all visitors. This is our first house swap and knowing another Christian family would be in our home in important to us. We have a lovely 4 bedroom brick home, with 1 bathroom and 2 toilets. We are happy to negoiate a swap for any time of the year (just need to organise time off for Geoff). But we are also specically looking for accomadation in Melbourne close to public transport from Sunday 4th April till Saturday 10th April 2010 for the Melbourne PlanetShakers conference.

About our home

We have a very child orientated home. 4 bedroom, brick home, cooling and heating. Our home is about 30 years old with original fixtures, but it is very homely and comfortable. We are fully set up for children of all ages. With bikes, equipment, pool table, skate boards, cot, change table and family friendly furntiure. Our home is not thje newest home but it is filled with much love and joy and would be a great base for a country holiday.

    Inverell is located in Northern NSW. It is a vibrant country community of about 10 000 people. We have a strong sporting and out door culture. With lovely child friendly parks. Many visitors to this region come to enjoy the bush walking, in-land fishing, wild life, rock climbing, fossicking, winery and rural aspect. It is a relaxed community and a great opportunity to show children from large cities a different lifestyle and country experience. There is a local bus service around the town. The nearest airport is in Armidale which is a 90 minute drive from Inverell.

    Copeton Dam is 30 minutes from Inverell. Is is one of the largest in-land fishing sites in NSW. A great location for water activities of all types.
